DHAKA -- Soaring foreign investment in Bangladesh is giving an added push to the country's booming economy, as multinational companies look to harness its strong domestic demand.
Our Comments:
The global FDI flow is somewhere in the region of $1.6 trillion of which more than $300 billions and $140 billions go to the USA and China respectively. Compared to these figures the FDI of $3.61 billions to Bangalash is a paltry sum, yet it means a lot to a country that has been in the economic quagmire for decades.
