Pete Cummins went on to win Lakerussel's most successful 99 wickets

Australian fast bowler Pete Cummins did not complete the international hunting century in 2019 with a wicket shortage.

He ended the year with 99 wickets, he became the highest wicket-taker this year, before Mitchell Johnson was awarded the highest wicket-taker in 2009, with Cummins amassing 99 wickets at 20.50. Which is the average.

After this year, compatriots Mitchell Starc (77) and Indian pacer Mohammed Shami (77) were notable.
