The owner of the British Premier League champions, Manchester City, sold a total of US $ 500 million (RM2,093 billion) of shares to the Silver Lake management corporation by giving US $ 4.8 billion (RM20.09 billion) worth of revenue, according to a Financial Times report today.

The Akhbar reported that Silver Lake's equity firm bought 10 percent of the shares of the Soccer Ball City (CFG) owned by journalists from Abu Dhabi while adding to official announcements about the purchase being made in the nearest future.

The American private management corporation (US) is eager to own the shares for a period of 10 years but is likely to be sold through common stock or selling to other private investors, the report said.
