@dlike - Not just for sharing stuff.....

For the past couple of months I've been playing around on @dlike with an alt account. At first, I thought it was nothing more than an opportunity for people to spam the blockchain with any old crap but have come to conclusion that @dlike could be the missing evolutionary link in the Steem blockchain.

@dlike allows you to share your favourite links and articles to the blockchain, but more than that, allows you to post your original content too. Perhaps not at the moment with the finesses that the traditional interfaces do but the potential is there. This makes it an excellent interface for many reasons.

Firstly. not everyone can write the 'quality' content that we all get drummed into us from day 1. Many people don't even speak English so this format is ideal for them to share or write articles in their own language and gain the same visibility as everyone else.

Secondly. Not everyone wishes to or is able to tie themselves into 'communities' but @dlike provides a community by default, and in the last few weeks it has been great to see people posting thoughtful comments to the various shares, thus creating their own little groups of mates. This is due to @dlike 's policy of rewarding curation as much as creation. A lesson that Steemit could learn from.

Thirdly. The @dlike team are proactive and working hard on curation and this DApp has improved and transformed in the last few weeks. Adding tokens, competitions, better editing and a whole multitude of other improvements on an almost daily basis. There is obviously a clear vision for the future and the motivation within the team to achieve it.

Fourthly. it bypasses the need for Steempress, allowing you to provide content anywhere you wish, in any format you wish and post it here. How simple is that?

Finally. @Dlike is showing a lot of love to its regular members in the shape of upvotes and rewards and doing everything they can with their voluntary SP delegation. They don't have millions of SP unlike some of the other, more supported DApps, and this is a shame. I wonder whether there is some sort of snobby prejudice in play. However.

I'd love to see more people join in this community for EVERYONE and delegate a few SP if you are able and @DLike, a few suggestions if I may be so bold....

Post preview, editing after posting, a 'Pocket' type function for us to save articles we really like, more ability for filtering the content we are shown, and please hurry up with the Android App !!

I know you guys are busy as hell but I'm 52, I don't have the time to wait!

Continued success to the team and thanks for your generosity in supporting the members who often get left by the wayside. All I can see are positives for the future of our blockchain.
