Rams part ways with defensive coordinator Wade Phillips
The Los Angeles Rams had a disappointing season. Amid rumors, it was believed that defensive coordinator, Wade Phillips, would not be retained.
The team announced that Phillips and them were parting ways. The 72 year old defensive mind still wants to coach. He is regarded highly throughout the NFL.
The son of Bum Phillips, he made his name as a defensive specialist. He had a couple head coaching jobs which were not successful.
Many teams are looking at assembling their staffs as they name new head coaches. Phillips might end up making the list for many of them.
