El ingenio para combatir la inseguridad / The ingenuity to combat insecurity
En sudamérica la inseguridad es moneda corriente y los ciudadanos suelen enfrentarse a situaciones en las que dependen de sí mismos. Así, el ingenio y la originalidad juegan su papel a la hora de enfrentarse ante un hecho de inseguirdad.
Tal es el caso del conductor de un automóvil que fue interceptado por un grupo de delincuentes con el fin de robarle. Pero los delincuentes, fuertemente armados, escucharon un ruido de metralleta que provenía del auto que intentaban abordar. El resultado: Una huida despavorida de todos los asaltantes.
Pero el conductor del vehículo no tenía arma alguna, tan solo una bocina que la activarla imitaba el sonido de disparos. Con ella pudo no solo librarse de los delincuentes, sino también darles un susto que bien merecido se tenían.
In South America insecurity is commonplace and citizens often face situations where they depend on themselves. Thus, ingenuity and originality play their part in confronting an act of insubordination.
Such is the case of the driver of a car who was intercepted by a group of criminals in order to steal from him. But the heavily armed criminals heard a machine-gun noise coming from the car they were trying to board. The result: A frightened escape for all the assailants.
But the driver of the vehicle had no weapon, only a horn to activate it imitated the sound of gunshots. With it he was able not only to get rid of the criminals, but also to give them a well-deserved scare.
