Dlike is delight shared – share what you like and get rewarded

How can you be sure that the vast resources of info on the Internet are actually reliable? How can you tell, only from a title or some capturing motto, what is worth reading and what is not? Through links. Through the evaluations of other people, done via voting, liking, sharing, recommending, promoting, etc. This is what the Dlike community is based on, and rewards on its platform depend on contributions from users/ community and their evaluation.

Founded in May 2018, Dlike already has almost one full year of experience. Targeting the youth of the 21st century, the founders learned this – young people tend to find it tedious to actually write long posts on their own. What they would much rather do is share ready posts from different sources. This tendency is incorporated in the Dlike concept. Content creators – that is, users/ community members who share – can get rewarded for their efforts and time through the STEEM/ Dlike token. Community members can also participate and be rewarded for the evaluations and curation they do themselves.

Dlike operates on the STEEM blockchain. This was done to make sure that Dlike will be owned and run by its users. The Steem platform has been evaluated to have 44% of real DApp users, while the Ethereum platform has only 2% of real DApp users.

Dlike preferred to steer away from ICO practices and build up its community and token economy on a real working product first. ICO practices seem to suffer from vulnerability to scams and publicity bubbles, powered by endless meetings, press conferences, huge teams of advisors and on the whole – too much talk and no real results. This downside has brought on the recession since 2018. Dlike preferred to follow the slow, but stable model of development, starting with a working product first, then building up a team of contributors and investors.
