Thanks to Jerry we have a way to fund budget proposals and he has been continuously advertising steemit for sometime now.
Jerry is a witness and he uses the money that he gets to promote steemit. He is a valuable member of steemit.
Using the name steemfest was not a good idea it was just a honest mistake
The fact that he called it Steemfest 2.5 leaves much imagination to call it a honest mistake.
Now the name has been changed and he apologized for the mistake I guess
