in #dlive6 years ago

It's a really wonderful lake and very special words, my friend
Lake Tahoe is on the border between California and Nevada within the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The largest mountain lake in the North American continent, located 1897 meters above sea level. It is the second deepest lake in the United States with a depth of 500 meters, after the Lake of Crete in Oregon, which has a depth of 593 meters. The world's largest lake, contains 39 trillion gallons of fresh water and is fed by a network of 63 rivers and springs of water. It stretches 22 miles and is 12 miles wide and is surrounded by 72 miles of beaches.

Interesting facts. I'm surprised Lake Superior is #4. I thought it was at least #2.
