Eating At Virtuous Pie!

Virtuous Pie is a 100% plant-based restaurant specialized in pizza and ice cream. They have 3 service points, 2 in Vancouver and 1 in Portland. @karensuestudios, @muffintuesday and I had a very good time there.

Eating at Virtuous Pie is one of the many awesome moments we had together. I really love the videos @karensuestudios is able to create wherever we go. I'm always really eager to watch them.

I'm not forgetting who I am though. I'm here on Steem to help others. It's one thing to say it but it's another one to do it without compromising. Life is challenging and sometimes fear overtakes our courage and determination.

I have my own fears and own challenges just like anyone else. Among them, the fear of not having enough money is a pervasive one. Money sips its way in every aspect of our life, challenging our greatest fears and assumptions.

Money, or more accurately national currencies are created out of nothing benefiting a privileged few at the expense of the rest. This truth has been so well dissimulated that it's lost to most. Our entire society is based on lies and deceptions but a whole new world is possible.

The 59 minutes talk by Dan Larimer, the creator of Steem, from which this quote is from, is one of the very most uplifting and inspiring things I've ever come across. Dan's work and writings have inspired a lot of positivism in me. They play a central role in who I am today.

On to another subject, health. No amount of exercises can make up for the deleterious effects caused by poisoning our body. Some studies seem to go further and point out that no amount of exercises can match up with a plant-based diet when it comes to our blood ability to fight cancer. (Study link)
