I learned a lot starting my business. I learned about patience and having long term goals. I learned about persistence and dedication. All great attitudes for being on Steemit :)
Okay okay I'm kidding... I guess? But.. The last big "dip" or correction that shook many hands didn't even come close to shaking mine.
Watching the markets bleed and bitcoin dropping lower and lower panicked many people. Literally all portfolios were negative if you stayed in the market from the weeks prior to the correction. At the lowest bitcoin hit, my portfolio was over 50% down. I still wasn't shook. Maybe slightly concerned?
My only concern would be if bitcoin completely collapsed and went to 0.
This is how I think.. If it went to 0 and I lost all my money, that would suck some major ass. Life would go on, I would have gone out swinging and lost with everyone else in crypto space that believed in the tech.
BUT...If I panic sold at the bottom and bitcoin went back up to where it was before... I would never forget how I got outsmarted and lost a ton of money because of MYSELF and everything would have been fine if I literally did nothing. This is something that I would not be okay with, and is why I have strong hands.
Exactly, I'm still in profit after a 50% decrease because I have been in the game for awhile. I just feel bad for the people who dumped their life savings in the day before the crash.. LOL bad timing. They would most likely be fine of course if they just hold, and ride this roller coaster.. but there were so many new people who didn't and learned a very expensive life lesson.
Learn from the best. Not just in the game you're playing (i.e. crypto), but from masters in all walks of life. Success principles carry over from one arena to another.
Core truth. Success in one area of life can be repeated else where following a well defined success path. I never this star is also have his hands in cryptos. Appreciate this info.

Sometimes some of us sell our coins because of urgent need for money. Crypto business is not for the faint hearted and I don't think it is wise borrowing money when you have coins to sell because if you are banking on the increase in value of that coin you have to pay back the money you were lent then you might just run into debt. Speaking from personal experience
Interesting point of view @rok-sivante. As you know, my method for success is exactly this. Find those who are good at something, learn as much as you can from them.

all part of the game.
after everything went parabolic in December, of course there's gonna be a correction.
and even despite a 50% portfolio decrease... it's still up how much since a few months ago...?
the rollercoaster carries on... to higher highs ahead...
