I don't think Jesus would give lions and sutch, meat eating animals hearth desiases. But lets say it's just for humans. We are also in the foodchain, so it would be immoral to poison his own creation. And I don't think those animals are pets, or at least you shouldn't keep them as pets. They should be free in nature to live their lives in peace.
