Introduction to DEBIO network pt2

in #dna3 years ago

What we have created is a complete economic flag that each actor of the ecosystem gets value from the ecosystem and other actors, these network effects provide defensibility to the entire ecosystem, users get Debio value from the data consumers. The data consumers get value from the data token pairs, and from analytical access.

Market

Debio holders become paid gatekeepers to ensure the quality of the labs, and the consortium of labs get access to a massive market. And it is a massive market, not just crypto enthusiasts, but also people who are stuck at home because of the pandemic health enthusiasts and people who are privacy focused.

This is our serviceable available market, and we're only taking 5% of the transaction fees. This is coming from an estimated value of a global bioinformatics market size in 2021 of $13.7 billion from that 47% privacy centric data sovereignty People are $6.4 billion. Just taking 1% of this entire serviceable available market would yield less. This one we're taking only 5% of transaction fees, our token distribution, is shown on the top right.

We gathered more than 250k in our angel and seed rounds. We are currently in our strategic round, and we're asking for 500k to develop the concept further, and allocate budget for in house scientists, as well as continuing technical, marketing, and business development. We have progressed really nicely this year. After friends and family seed round in January, we won the ETHDenver hackathon with our Ethereum prototype in February.

We launched the very first app chain on the octopus network tested in May with getting 250k of state funding. We are gathering our strategic round now, while hard work at code to do Doctor onboarding, July, we are developing our privacy computing data marketplace while going to private drop token generation event. August, we come into an ideal, I love to watch ******. Kilt development follows, ensuring that the lab consortium governance is set up, and we plan to launch main net in the octopus network by October 2021 After stabilisation of the network, we will develop the data tokens further to increase data granularity, expand markets and partnerships further and explore b2b implementations of our next of our platform.
I am the CEO of Debiometrics. I am a blockchain consultant, and I am also an environmental engineer with bioinformatics and microbiology experience, my chief architect is also here. He is a software engineer with working to healthcare industry for quite some time. I have a chief scientist who coordinates the advisors, and he is very experienced in wellness, and marketing. I have a full stack developer, Kevin, with substrate in Octopus networks. The advisors includes seven doctors, PhDs and medical doctors, one of them. Leads cancer research for the largest Science and Technology University. Another as the CIO of the largest government owned hospital. We have three researchers in biochemistry, genomics, and molecular biology. We have a doctor who focuses on Bioethics and we also have a hybrid medical doctor who is also a substrate developer, and part of the polka dot Ambassador programme. DNA is massively interoperable, the genes in a fruit fly, or dinosaur or octopus also runs on you, the bio network will achieve the future of biomedical data. By making everything, interoperable, and that is why we are partnering with the octopus network, we allow users to pay with a theory of their meta masks, we run our palates on substrate, we have access to the Near ecosystem through octopus, our privacy preserved data is encrypted on IPFS and committed on Kubernetes, our consortium is governed through the Kyoto Protocol, and we even have a collaboration EIGRP the Indonesian stable coin for future payments within that country. With that, I would like to go to the demo, and I would like to stop sharing my screen. Now Kevin will present the demo. Kevin, go ahead.

Okay, thank you. I'm going to go ahead and share my screen now. Hopefully everyone can see my screen now. So, for the demo, I've already prepared two sets of accounts. On the left, I have a customer account, and on the right, I have a lab account. So now I'm going to walk through the process of how a customer can create DNA test requests, and how the lab can process the requests. So to make a test for DNA sample test requests, I'm just going to click on this button. Now, because of the limited shelf life of DNA samples, it is recommended for customers to choose a lab that is as close as possible to their location. Because I've already prepared a lab account here I've already know that. Its location is in Indonesia, so I'm gonna choose that. And Jakarda. And that should be the lab here. And we can see that it has a few products that we can choose from. We're going to choose this diet product. Continue now, before I submit the order, because the bio is from as an app chain, it has the customer, the accounts are substrate based accounts, but because we, we support payments using stable coins or ERC 20 tokens on Ethereum networks. We have to make sure that our meta mask account is bound to our database account.
So I'm just going to make sure that I want to choose this account here. Now from this user menu. If you go to Wallet binding, you can see that I have the right account. So now I'm good to go to submit the order.

It's kind of prompted me to add the ERC 20 token to my meta mask added, and just kind of confirm the payment. Wait for a bit for the transaction, the transaction has now been confirmed. Check and close it now. Now as a customer, you still have to collect your DNA sample. And for each different products, there should be instruction to collect your DNA sample. For now I'm just going to skip that. Once you've done that, you just need to write down the specimen tracking number on the samples tube, and also the envelope, and then send that sample to the lab. You don't need to mention your name address or any personal information.
Okay, so now that the order is done, I'm going to go on the left side and go to the order page. Now, this should be the order that we made earlier. So I'm going to go ahead and process that. Okay, so before we process it. The lab just have to confirm the specimen number. Copy that received the specimen. And now, if you can imagine once all the DNA testing and web work is done just need to have to check on this checkbox and then the lab would have to upload the, the test files, the result files. Now, first I'm going to upload the genome files, which I've already prepared a couple of test files here. This is gonna upload to IPFS absolutely report, as well. Now I'm going to send this transaction to the blockchain. Now that the specimen knows the specimen is processed and the order is fulfilled. Now there are a few things that happened here.
First, I'm going to show you how the files are uploaded on IPFS so the files that are uploaded are in an encrypted form. And only the customer that made the order can decrypt the files. Secondly, the payment that was made earlier by the customer. It was actually paid to an escrow account first, and now that the order is fulfilled. The, the tokens should be forwarded to the lab. And the last thing. Once the order is fulfilled in the customer side you'll see this notification saying that the customer would receive five Debio for the transaction. So this is the subsidy for the customer transaction that ******* mentioned earlier. And also, they, they will also be able to stick their personal data to earn more device. So for now I'm just going to skip that. Now I'm just gonna go and show you how the customer can see the test result. So this should be my wallet, here it should be there you go. So that's the, report that was encrypted in IPFS it's automatically decrypted on the customer side. And that is it for the demo. I'm just going to go back to the slide. Give it back to Panda.

Thank you Kevin. Please go to the next slide and final slide for today. You can try the demo yourself, if you'd like to try, then you can try us both user and lab demo dot Debio network. If you'd like to see the code, go to github.com slash Degenetics our original name was Degenetics and it's already a repository on GitHub. You can download this deck, and the white paper itself at the Debio bank network, you can contact me at CEO at Debio network.
Let's let your biomedical data be as interoperable as your DNA. Your DNA should be sovereign, the value of your DNA should only be monetizable by you. Let's decentralised biology together that I thank you. My name is ***** Degenetics. Add me on LinkedIn, and we'll see you soon.
