Hi Steemit community! There is an altcoin called Doge that has made earning crypto fun! It's super easy, simple and fast to get started; it's a no brainer.

While you can buy Doge coin on an Exchange like Poloniex, there's another, more awesome way to get FREE* Doge coins, without having to put down a single deposit. That's right. And the best part is, practically ANYONE can get started with Doge, just as long as you have a phone and/or internet connection.

In this post, I'm going to show you how to claim free Doge coin on a site called Doge Faucet.

What Is Doge Coin?

Dogecoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency that enables you to easily send and receive money online. You can buy goods and services with Doge, or trade it for another altcoin (or even for US Dollar or Euros).

Getting Started Claiming Dogecoins

Getting started is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Step 1: Get A Dogecoin Wallet
Download your official Doge wallet at DogeCoin.com HERE. and select from one of the wallet choices: desktop wallet, phone wallet, online wallet, or paper wallet. In my opinion, the best and most convenient wallet option is phone wallet as all you have to do is download the app to your phone and you have access to your wallet balance and address to easily send and receive Doge. But it's all a preference thing.

After you've successfully downloaded the app, the steps are easy to follow. Keep the below in mind:

• You'll be provided with a secret passphrase key which you are required to write down. If you were to ever delete the app or lost your password to your account, the only way back into your account is with your secret passphrase key. So write it down securely.
• Create a backup wallet just in case.... (always recommended to backup your wallets in case any circumstances and inconveniences occur)

Step 2: Claim Daily Doge Every 3 Hours
Every 3 hours, you'll be able to claim free Doge at DogeFaucet.com. I've been doing it since and loving it.

To claim Doge at Doge Faucet, simply enter your Doge Wallet address given to you when you download your wallet and enter the word answer in the answer box. Tip when entering the answer: Don't add spaces in between the words. Example, if answer is 'incomplete answer', enter incompleteanswer in box. No caps, no space, just typed altogether.

If you want to remember when to claim Doge again, you can enter your email address, which is optional.

You can see your wallet balance once you reach 20 Doge coins, but you can see how much your wallet is worth by scrolling down the bottom of page.

Step 3: Use Your Dogecoin

• With your Doge wallet address, you can use it to buy goods and services and literally go shopping online on shops that accept Doge.
• You can send Doge to another Doge wallet address.
• You can receive Dge to your wallet address.
• Be sure to NEVER send Doge to an address other than Doge or you risk permanently losing your money.
