Humans Don't Deserve Dogs
Humans, flawed and often cruel,
With broken hearts and broken rules.
They hurt and harm without a care,
And treat the world as if it's theirs to share.
Yet dogs, with love so pure and true,
Forgive us time and time anew.
They comfort us with gentle paws,
And never judge us for our flaws.
Their unconditional love shines bright,
A beacon of hope in the darkest night.
They bring us joy, they ease our pain,
And ask for nothing in return, not even a gain.
So here's to dogs, with hearts of gold,
A gift to us, worth more than a pot of gold.
For though we may not deserve their love,
It's a blessing from the heavens above.
