I can confirm that you can make 500$ in your first month on Steemit. I started being active in the middle of January, and made about 320$. I haven't spent as much time on this site as I could, so the potential for 500$ is there.

    Really, you just have to write a lot of really good comments on for others, and post one or two times a day. I also had the help of DLive upvoting me a few times, so whale support helps.
