Restarting the Infinite Doodle

in #doodleslast year

I mentioned in an earlier post that I've been playing with AI images. AI seems to be an affordable way to create images for posts with fewer copyright concerns. I generated the image above with DALL-E 2. AI does not know how to draw fingers, but the proportions of the image are good.

AI seems to open some other avenues.

I've taken several stabs through the years on a project that I called "The Infinite Doodle." This project will produce connected tiles in an unbound 3D grid.

My stabs at the project keep falling short because it takes me a long time to draw a picture. I am talking hours and not minutes.

I would draw a dozen or so pictures for the doodle and run out of steam before the project took on substantive form.

AI allows me to generate images for the tiles in minutes. This allows me to work on the structure of the project.

I intend to produce an AI image a day for the tiles which I will publish on my personal homepage. I will also publish articles on each tile with the idoodle account on palnet.io

The picture below is a zen doodle that I drew for the project.

I welcome comments on the project.
