Is sending ¢0.035 worth a payout of ¢1?

Nobody wants a resteem and 25+ upvotes worth $0.01.

The payout is clearly too low to catch a dolphin, even a minnow. I thought that plankton should be interested.

Pasting the URL and completing the transaction takes time (this could be automated). Is it worth the case?

I don't understand the question.
If you send $0.035, and you (would) receive only $0.01, then you (would) lose $0.025.
But you can't receive $0.01, because the payout threshold on the Steem blockchain is $0.02, so you would not get anything in this case.
Except, if other people also upvote the post.
In other worlds, you would lose $0.035.
This is clearly unprofitable.
But if the profit is $0.01 (you would get a payout of $0.045), then that is depending on the person.
I would not waste my time for $0.01 profit.
I rarely boost my posts (buy upvotes), but if I do, then I would like to have at least $0.10 profit on it.
You can calculate your investment and the ROI (Return on Investment) with Smartsteem.
Nowadays there is a fixed 10% ROI (5% BONUS for limited time) on Smartsteem.

Thanks for voting. Actually, it is 0.035 CENT versus 0.01 USD. No loose except if the post payout is below the payout threshold value.

0.035 Cent? Sorry, but what is that? $0.00035 USD?
I understand 0.10 cent ($0.001 USD), which is already a very small amount, but why would anyone bother with anything less than that?
That would be time wasting. Even for the plankton/redfish.
Dealing with less than $0.01 is time wasting in my opinion.
People should focus on Steem investments, in which they get back at least $0.02 to reach at least the payout threshold to avoid losing any money.

Yes, 0.035 Cent, 0.00035 USD, 0.001 STEEM, one steemie. That is needed to send the address of the post to be upvoted.
If one of my posts makes $0.01, I would be glad to reach the payout threshold by sending only $0.00035.
