Can be some sort of workaholism: For example by being workaholic dApp developer, or a contributor on Utopian.
Some people (for example @elear) are even left their real life job to work on Utopian:
Utopian: I have Just Left a 13K/Month Job For Making This Real.
Can be some sort of online game addiction: Can be any game on the Steem blockchain. For example Steem Monsters, DrugWars, SteemNova.
Can be a problem (either in the past, in the present, or in the future): If someone take using any Steem related thing to extreme levels, then that can be a problem.
For example sitting in front of the computer, and using any Steem related thing for days without any rest.
As I heard/read, some people even took computer addiction to the level of using the computer for days without any break, ending with dying in front of the computer.
Not just in the case of working, but in the case of gaming, gambling and other things.
That is definitely a problem.

For example gambling addiction can also be a problem on the Steem blockchain.
For example taking the usage of Magic Dice and/or other gambling/betting dApp(s) to extreme levels.
