Mayan God Drawing
Recent drawing of one of the many gods of ancient Mexico. I don't know the name of him or the meaning of the symbols. If there is anyone out there who does I would be interested to know.
I started with a pencil drawing, photographed it and then darkened the lines in Gimp using difference of gaussians and the cartoon filter. Referenced the Dresden Codex, one of the few surviving books of the Mayan civilization.
If you are unfamiliar with Mayan religion, they have many gods, some of which take on different forms.
