Very fortunate that an Instagram account redhead ranger allowed me to use her picture as a reference. So I immediately sketched and inked.

I just improvised on the lower half of the armour and used st. Joan of arc paintings as reference.

I surely enjoyed the process as strokes of pen always help calm the senses.

Tips
Thick lines - hold the pen upright with a firm stroke.

Thinner lines - tilt pen and swiftly strike the pen to create thinner or lines that kind of break off.

Dots and cross hatching helps add texture and shadow.

St. Joan

Ste. Jean as we know was just a teenager when she was called by saint Michael to lead an army.

Here are some strong and amazing quotes by her:

⚜️ I am not afraid... I was born to do this. — St. Joan of Arc

⚜️ One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it. But to sacrifice what you are and to live without belief, that is a fate more terrible than dying. — St. Joan of Arc

⚜️ If I am not, may God put me there; and if I am, may God so keep me. — st. Joan of Arc
(Regarding the state of grace)

⚜️ Hold the cross high so I may see it through the flames.
— st. Joan of Arc
(This was on her execution)

She is a model of bravery and obedience to God and a good leader. Truly, she has many worthy traits we can learn from.

That's all! Have a great day and I hope my art and tips helped.
