Sketch 5: Blissed OutsteemCreated with Sketch.

in #drawing7 years ago

Hello fellow Steemians. I had left for a week and came back to an array of interesting new blogs in my feed, waiting to be read and discussed with lovely people. Disappearing without a word is certainly not a good thing to do especially when I had just first started to get active on Steemit, but I do have my reasons.

In an effort to take care of my mental and emotional health, I took some time off from blogging for an entire week. I was running on low energy since last week; putting my everything into my day work, getting emotionally tired from all the necessary social interactions, getting less sleep every day for the past week to get more things done. I was so fatigued by the end of the week that I spent the entire weekend just sleeping, eating, and sleeping.

Rest is always very precious to me, because I was getting less as I get older. Lack of rest had always put me in a bad mood, and in constant state of tiredness. Not to mention, the amount of time I spent being ill due to my weakening immunity.

Blogging is a way for me to share my thoughts and my art, thus I spend hours on making one because I want it to be good. But as I was running back and forth doing my duties, I needed the night for more sleep and more hours just to relax. I also needed some time off to do the little things that make me blissfully unaware of my desires and ambitions. Sometimes, it just feel very nice to stop caring so much about the big stuffs and just enjoy the little things in life.

I had spent my time gaming, reading and watching movies, and now I feel rejuvenated and ready to get back on track!

I hope everyone is having a good time and a well deserved respite from our responsibilities.

Thank you for reading, and till next time~
