Today I want to bring you something delicious that Venezuelans take at the end of the year, or at any time, you could say that we have our way of preparing it and that is why it is very delicious, of course, depending on each state and apart it is an easy drink to make .

There are different versions of the traditional one, and in its preparation there is a great influence depending on the area where it was made. There is the famous Andean punch, typical of the Los Andes region, which is prepared based on miche; the Caracas punch that is made of rum; the llanero punch, known as San Juan punch, which has aguardiente as the main ingredient; and the cream punch that accompanies the Christmas celebrations. Any of them is an excellent option when you want to taste a light drink with low alcohol content.

You can really do chocolate, oreo, coffee and many more.

Ingredients:
For the Cream Punch.

  1. 2 cans of condensed milk (if you do not have it you can do it yourself)
  2. 2 egg whites
  3. 4 egg yolks
  4. ¾ or a liter of milk
  5. ¾ or a liter of rum (this is the Caracas punch)
  6. Vanilla
  7. Grated lemon
  8. 1 pinch of nutmeg

preparation:

  1. Assemble the egg whites until stiff, then toss the egg yolks little by little and continue whisking, then slowly pour the condensed milk, the pasteurized milk, the vanilla, the lemon rind and finally the rum.

  2. You already have your cream punch, but try before putting it to cool to see if the taste is rich. Let it cool in the fridge at least two or three hours before serving and Enjoy!
