RE: Drone Enthusiasts of Steemit, PLEASE HELP ME, Which Drone Should I Buy?
I have the spark, it´s perfect for a first timer (which I was, and you are). If you buy the fly more combo its a perfect setup to learn and also to go pro whenever you feel like. The others you mention are way too pros for us newbies, I bought it around 4 months ago. Btw, check out the laws and regulations to fly them, its not a walk in the park. Glad to see you are back.
Thanks for answering! :) I haven't even thought about checking the laws, I definitely have to do that! I wonder if the Karma is also too pro for me, it seems quite simple. There was such a big difference in film quality between the Spark and the Mavic Air so I would kind of want to go for 4K... But I love how small the Spark is and it does seem really user friendly :)
I read a lot of reviews of the Karma, didn´t like the user experience reviews I read even in the gopro website :/ Plus it only works with your GoPro so you can´t have double view whereas with the spark, you can record both POV´s at the same time, yours and the drone. Also karma is way too big to carry aroung for me in my backpack, but if you have a car I guess you´ll be allright. Overall, DJI is better than GoPro drone wise (maneuveurability, technology and so), maybe not image wise cause GoPro kicks ass in action cameras... It depends on what you want it long term really... For me the Mavic and the Karma seemed too much, money and tech wise.
I see what you mean, the Karma does come in its own back pack but it is quite big so I would probably not be able to carry anything else with me... The Karma right now costs 499 so that's the same price as the spark fly more combo. The main reason why I would like the Karma is that it comes with the stabilization grip for the GoPro and I could use that grip when filming anything. And the grip in itself is 300$ so basically I would get the drone for 200 :P But I do agree that GoPro isn't a drone company and that the DJI drones are a lot better...
