"Constant flow of change"

Rebirth.

Welcome back to our weekly Drop in the Ocean post where we feature the amazing content that was created for the show.

This weeks topic was Continuation which is evident all around us whether we observe it or not, there is some debate of a philosophical nature whether numbers and the concept of infinity would still exist when there is no one to observe them but I will leave this for you to ponder.

Continuation at first glance is a superfluous topic if one considers the current entertainment market, fortunately for us, we in the Drop in the Ocean show tend to dive a bit deeper and I hope you all agree that the posts this week shows that there is more on the topic than the next superhero movie.

Join us as we dive right into this weeks Drop in the Ocean.

This weeks posts.

The votes have been rolling in from the attendees of the show and we have the posts ready to share with you all.

The top two voted writers will 'level up'. When a member has levelled up, they will receive a daily upvote from the BuddyUP account at 50%. The member keeps their level for 2 weeks, unless they level up again on DITO within those 2 weeks. Every time you level up, you will receive an additional 10% on your daily vote, maxing out at level 5.

The writer with the most votes will be resteemed straight after this post. This is so we can all look back at the BuddyUP blog and see the winning posts from each week.

If you are wondering how you can join the Drop in the Ocean show, you will find all the required information at the bottom of this post.

@Enginewitty

With very personal thoughts of continuation in mind, @enginewitty shares with us a few prevalent moments in his life that give the word precious meaning. From a snake shedding, to the continuation of his bloodline he gives us much to ponder on the subject.

Luna asked why that is. I said it's so he can grow. Life continues in many ways.

A significant part of life is dealing with the loss of life. Whether its pets or loved ones, coping with that loss is never easy. Through the eyes of his beautiful girls, @enginewitty has a time stopping the moment of realization and clarity that most of us can understand.

Curious about the world around them and - I was assured my bloodline would continue in this trio of inquisitive and brave princesses.

Life continues even if we are no longer here to see it. Our children grow up to be the awesome human beings we raised them to be, can lessen the blow you may feel from your own mortality.

@Poetrybyjeremy

After months away, @poetrybyjeremy returns with his brilliant, deep thoughts on continuation. His timing couldn't have been more perfect as his return is sort of a continuation in itself and we couldn't be happier to hear from him again.

It's been a couple of months since I have written my last post for Drop in the Ocean, and it is ironic that this post is about continuation.

Examining the continuity of relationships @poetrybyjeremy shows us the many different paths a relationship can take in the absence of someone. No matter the path, it will continue; to strengthen, weaken or even out of necessity.

Moreover, any event that happens to my person will affect my needs and wants in other relationships. Thus, the relationship is re-evaluated from both ends continuously.

Being the continuous humans that we are, @poetrybyjeremy reminds us that we can rekindle passions we may have lost no matter how much time has passed. It will take more effort, but worth it in the end.

Our runners-up for this week

Thank you to everyone who was at the show and contributed their posts on our topic of the week. Every post and person that joins in makes Drop in the Ocean worth having.

So where are the rest of the posts?

@YouHaveWings

shows us how continuation is all around us accompanied by gorgeous photos and insightful thoughts be sure to check per post The Continuation of Life Through the Seasons

@TheHive

Successfully avoiding the rabbit hole of time and space @TheHive shares with us his thoughts on the characteristic of numbers in relation to continuation.

The Hive Continuation

@Dreemsteem

Many people are able to take it slow at will, a luxury that some do not have. Some minds tend to go full throttle and this can have both amazing and dire consequences on aq person.

To be continued....

@Freedomtowrite

Best left alone comes to mind in this post, and although we all may wish to push for continuation there are times that you should listen to @freedomtowrite and just let it be.

Drop in the Ocean ~ Continuation

@Penderis

Confusingly inaccurate, horrendously executed this posts only claim to continuation is the authors' insistence to keep typing.

This feels familiar

How do you get involved?

Have you been reading through and wondering how you can get involved with our community/show? Below I've listed the steps to take, so you can jump into the action and share your perspective and views, with all of us here at BuddyUP.

  • Head over to our BuddyUP server. You can do this by following the SafeLink post here.

  • Think about the topic for next week, which is...

COINCIDENCE

  • Write a post about that topic and come by to the Drop in the Ocean show on Monday (20:00 UTC) to present it and join the conversation.

  • You are welcome to bring with a post on the topic from any other sources which you feel will contribute to the discussion. Bring a friend, bring a post and bring yourself.

The final and the most important piece of information is... do not publish your post until Sunday or Monday. This is so we can give you all the best amount of exposure possible on your posts and also so you get paid out on the day of the show; so you can come back with an even bigger smile on your face!
