"But, actually."

In my opinion...

Welcome back to our weekly Drop in the Ocean post where we feature the amazing content that was created for the show.

This weeks topic was Opinions and quite a few found that exciting, some found that it might be a bit too general and generally had very little to share on the topic.

Once it gets narrowed down and a person finds yourself within a more focused scope it seems that opinions increase in their veracity, some are carefully weighed and other may be more reactive without any consideration given.

No matter where your opinion finds its roots it is agreed that one should always intend to have it mean good as we strive for a unified truth. Those who are more malicious I fear no one will listen to your opinions.

Join us as we dive right into this weeks Drop in the Ocean.

This weeks posts.

The votes have been rolling in from the attendees of the show and we have the posts ready to share with you all.

The top two voted writers will 'level up'. When a member has levelled up, they will receive a daily upvote from the BuddyUP account at 50%. The member keeps their level for 2 weeks, unless they level up again on DITO within those 2 weeks. Every time you level up, you will receive an additional 10% on your daily vote, maxing out at level 5.

The writer with the most votes will be resteemed straight after this post. This is so we can all look back at the BuddyUP blog and see the winning posts from each week.

If you are wondering how you can join the Drop in the Ocean show, you will find all the required information at the bottom of this post.

@FreedomtoWrite

How many times have I let my opinion hit someone in the guts?

In her post she shares her thoughts on opinions and how we should not be so quick to provide our own. Being mindful of the words we utter will help us to consider where our opinion originates from.

If I come across a person struggling, my words mean nothing if I don't show love.

In her opinion we should all strive to have our own opinions be grounded in love and that we have to always be wary to not bring negativity into someone else's life with unsolicited opinions with ill intention.

@YouHaveWings

Opinions may seem straightforward, we may even consider ourselves capable of separating fact and opinion, which as you read @YouHaveWings post on the topic you might find that this is not as clear-cut as we might think.

To add more complexity, the sources we used to go to for information and news have also jumped on the 'opinion bandwagon' and has become 'opinion news' filled with panels of 'opinion experts'.

Providing us with a wealth of information on how we may come to form our opinions and the many factors that may lead to us believing them to be truer over another.

How do you get involved?

Have you been reading through and wondering how you can get involved with our community/show? Below I've listed the steps to take, so you can jump into the action and share your perspective and views, with all of us here at BuddyUP.

  • Head over to our BuddyUP server. You can do this by following the SafeLink post here.

  • Think about the topic for next week, which is...

CRITICAL THINKING

  • Write a post about that topic and come by to the Drop in the Ocean show on Monday (20:00 UTC) to present it and join the conversation.

  • You are welcome to bring with a post on the topic from any other sources which you feel will contribute to the discussion. Bring a friend, bring a post and bring yourself.

The final and the most important piece of information is... do not publish your post until Sunday or Monday. This is so we can give you all the best amount of exposure possible on your posts and also so you get paid out on the day of the show; so you can come back with an even bigger smile on your face!
