RE: Drugs - My Experience with 'Speed'

in #drugs6 years ago

I mean you didn't have any serious lasting consequences, but you suggest that's not likely with speed anyway. But a kidney stone and heartburn are still not nice to have. I've known people who take their share of various drugs and they mostly seem okay, but I've met others who got messed up by it. I just lost a friend whose life may have been cut short by previous heavy drinking. Alcohol probably causes more issues than all the illegal drugs put together. Too much of anything can be bad, but I'm not going to judge people.

Sort:

The stone was very bad, and I'm quite sure Speed was the perpetrator. @trolleydave has had health issues too, but I'm unsure whether its related to our 90's experiments.

The heartburn was brought on prematurely I think, as it is hereditary is my family.. so yes.. there were consequences for sure.

Alcohol is a particularly nasty drug which most of us use in varying degrees, and it does have addictive qualities of the physical type.

I myself long for a beer every weekend, and have to suppress the feelings sometimes. I know what it is, but its controllable.
