Tears In The Shower

in #dsound7 years ago (edited)

I will be releasing a new EP "Peaceful Tranquility" on all platforms next Friday but thought I would share this track on here now.

I wasn't sure whether to release this as it's a little out of tune in places but then I thought about my biggest influence, Thom Yorke, and how some of his vocals are the same but add a sense of vulnerability to the music. So I decided to release it. I am really interested to hear you honest feedback please!

Awesome track John ! Great vocal performance, nice acoustic sound ! You nailed it ! :)

Thank you very much!!! :-)

brilliant track mate dunno what you were worried about, sounds awesome, new EP hey, exciting:)

Thanks. Still unsure about it but hey, that's what we do innit, worry too much!! :P

You have already heard 2 tracks from the EP but the best one is being saved for last :-)

Cheers my friend!

we are our own biggest critics, even bono can't listen to U2 stuff coz all he hears is mistakes

cracking track!

Thanks very much John!

The vocals and tuning fit the song perfectly, too perfect and it would lose its edge. Don’t worry it’s a good ‘un.

I was hoping that was the case but I wasn't too sure. Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Yeah I can get that Thom Yorke vibe, certainly a vulnerabilty to the content.

Thanks my friend!

I really like your vocals man! I dont think one need to nail the pitch all the time... I really like Damien Rice for example and his vocals are also really sensitive and often not perfect pitch.. Although If this was my mix I would definately lower the volyme of the guitar a bit.. think it kinda takes over :) but thats just my 2 cents!

Thanks for your support!!

Appreciate the feedback re: the guitar. As this one is out there now I'll keep that in mind next time.

Thanks for the follow too. Following you back.
