I am in favor of using the Steem blockchain for my content 😁

I'm curious of your opinions on @steembasicincome my friend. Appreciate your support and sharing your opinions on financial matters...

I took a cursory look at this, but I'm skeptical. First, humans have a natural flaw called greed. Greed as a psychological behavior tends to be far more powerful than charity. This is often why so many humans embrace shared philosophical or religious views. They rally around a set of rules that help them guide their lives, while constantly battling with the "inner demons" that are our natural human flaws. Typically this battle goes on persistently for all of us, but the reality is that greed has proven itself to be a far greater foe than charity. Consequently we have massive wealth discrepancies. So when it comes to any form of "basic income guarantee", I don't buy it. Not only does it fly against the natural human ideal of working for egotistical reasons, but I don't know if I trust any central authority to be responsible for the distribution of wealth. Look at history - that has never really ended well when it was tried in the past. It is for these reasons that I am not a fan of retirement, per se. I believe that humans should have the positive responsibility of seeking out what makes us passionate and happy, and ideally that should not be tied to money. But in a capitalistic country such as the USA where I live, it is the mantra and rule of law here. Maybe @steembasicincome can provide a path for those that wish to fulfill their dreams without the burden of money, but just as I would never give up my control of my security to a 3rd party, this is just another 3rd party that would potentially disappoint those that put their faith into it. As you can probably tell, I'm extremely skeptical.
