Nothing Happened - Ejercito de Nobles
Hello D-sound and Steemit!
This is another track from the ''Enki'' album of Nothing Happened. This son is what gave the album it's name and it was originally not going to be included in the song list.
''Enki'' was the nickname of Harold Rodas, a very talented songwriter from Guayaquil who was a fan of the band.. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer while in the middle of the recording of his own music and the middle of the recording of this album.. He then asked ''LinQin'' our drummer and band leader if we could record with him this song.. to what we all agreed to do on a last notice. His vocals on this song were the last thing he recorded before passing away.
We renamed the whole album and dedicated it to him, the vocals at the end are all his friends that came in to pay tribute to him and say goodbye .. a very emotional moment both in the studio and when we played this song Live in the official release. I cried both times.
