Tropical Haze (Intro)
Tropical Haze (Intro)
About the Tropical Haze EP
Originally the first EP I released back in 2013, this is a revised version officially released on 18 April 2019. I had always thought that it could have been produced a little bit better, and there was one track (Essence) that I wanted to include on the original but never made the cut at the time. One of the original tracks (The Burning Eye) I had wanted to improve on also, so the original version of this track has been replaced by a revised version. The other tracks have also all been remastered.
About This Track
Combining some elements of two other tracks -- ‘Tropical Night’ and ‘Haze’, this was the intro track for the Tropical Haze EP from 2013, revised and re-released in April 2019.
The EP was intended to be a collection of chilled out electronic tropical-rainforest-jungle type of tracks, which hopefully comes across to some extent.

More about Skaarl:
All types of music appeal to me, particularly the more relaxed genres - chillout, ambient, downtempo, trip hop, jazz, latin, IDM, etc. Usually I will create downtempo electronic tracks, although I go through phases where it gets a bit more upbeat, just whatever I happen to be feeling at the time.
Back in 2019, continuing working with other artists, creating several remixes for Juxta, as well as collaborating with winkandwoo on Daybreak. Member of the EMA collective, Blocktronika, and have been part the ACR community for several years.
“Skaarl is not only a great artist but very supportive of others on the platform, top bloke” - The Turtle Project

“Skaarl is a Cool Cat and a great musician. He pulls great heavy driving music out of his pocket and slaps you. Soft at 1st. His track ‘I Fear The Robots’ with Juxta says it all.” - wav-Dr.
@wav-dr
“Skaarl has affectionately acquired various nicknames in the first couple of months in EMA but the main ones we refer to him as are “Trouser Man”, “Señor Trouser Man” and “Don Skaarlioni”! We’re surprised he doesn’t mention this in his bio below but we’ll leave it up to the man himself to tell you more!” - EMA

I love the chill nature build brother. Sounds great. Then the synth drops. Sweet!
I previewed the file before uploading it earlier, found it sounds much more chilled if you forget to null the mixing desk, and the channel it's on has a send with a big regen delay and reverb on it ...by mistake 🤣
You are a cool cat @skaarl
Cheers Dave, just been enjoying your jams on DTube 😄
