Requiem

Track 11 (and the final track) from my 2019 album ARIA. "Requiem" is what brings it all together in this "final confrontation". It is one of my more progressive tracks (listen closely in the end and you'll see why) and is full of ups and downs with an uplifting-yet-melancholic feel.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ALBUM "ARIA":
I wrote this album with the idea of a rock/metal album feeling like the experience felt when playing through an epic Japanese-style RPG like Final Fantasy or Chrono Trigger. Each song can stand alone, but as a whole they represent the progression from beginning to end. As a concept album, there is a story, but I've made it intentionally a little vague so that the listener can also apply each song in his or her own way.
