It has been an interesting 6-week course on business; this course has shaped my mind and reminded me of the important steps to a successful business; thanks to the hosts @dove11 and @aviral123 for their questions and tips. 1st Section: Are you planning any expansion of your business?


I am planning to expand my business. I have been on this for some time now, and I am aware of the financial involvement in expanding my transportation business. To get a loan from a bank or any financial institution, I need credibility, and I need to prove that I am running a profitable business.

I have been working on the credibility aspect by reinvesting my profits. I began my transportation business with just a car, but recently, from my method of reinvestment, I have been able to purchase another car, making it two cars.

I plan to continue reinvesting my profits till I purchase as many cars as possible; this would expand my services and fulfill my dream of owning a nationwide transportation business, and when I get to a certain stage, I will open room for investors, by this time my business would be deemed credible.

Another plan for my business expansion is to create a website where people can order rides. Advertisements would be done on all social media platforms to catch the attention of as many people as possible.


2nd Section: If you are trying to expand your business, what are your strategies?


In trying to grow my business, I apply different strategies, and I will tell you about them;

  1. I grow my business gradually or naturally: I grow my business without a loan at this stage, which may burden me or become a setback for me in the future. Therefore, I maintain the finances and gain of my business to realize my expansion dreams.

  2. I am maintaining good customer service relationships: customers are very important in the growth of a business, and without good customer relationships, I can't maintain my customers. Where there are no customers, expansion can't be realized. So to realize my expansion dreams, I am having a good customer service relationship.

  3. I reinvest my profits. To realize my expansion dreams, I am reinvesting 50% of my profits, and this has proven to work. Remember I mentioned earlier that I just purchased another car in line with my expansion plans.

  4. Employing professionals: I just hired a professional driver. Since I am a chemical engineer, I am working hand in hand with my beloved sister who studied business management. She has been helpful, she came up with the idea of profit reinvestment. As seen in point 1, this is practical and beneficial.

3rd Section: Are you paying attention to your customer service or planning to provide better service?


I pay much attention to my customer service, and I am creating an avenue where my customers can reach me and lay their complaints. My WhatsApp line is stipulated for this purpose. In week 3 of this course, I posted a screenshot of my chat with one of my customers. My customers can reach out to me either to compliment my services or to suggest how I can serve them better. In week 5 of this course, under point 4, I gave an example of a client who returned his patronage because I improved on his complaints.

I am available 24 hours a day; I render good and quality services anytime, anywhere I am called upon. I always have a good attitude toward my customers, I am very respectful to my customers, and I apologize when I am wrong. In all, I always try my best to provide good services at all times.


4th Section: Do you and your crew understand how to work with customers


I understand how to work with my customers. I try my best to pay attention to my clients and understand their concerns. I always provide the possible solution to their worries. I make my customers feel valued because they can suggest to me, and receive their desired services.

I am still working as a person, but the driver who would drive the new car would soon join me. I have already enlightened him on my strategies. I will create an avenue where our customers can reach me directly for suggestions and complaints. My business line would be posted on the car with the caption, "How is my driving?" With this, customers can reach out to me to inform me of the nature of my services. We will be working together to provide good services to our clients. Satisfying my clients is my goal. I give my clients the services they desire, and to know what they desire, I always ask them tactfully, and they always tell me the kind of service they desire.

Your post is so educating.

I love the fact that you have amazing idea of posting "how is my driving?", for customers to tell you thier view on how your driving was.

This will also help the driver to know whether he is driving well or needs to make adjustments.

It will create room for good communication between the driver and the customer.
