S20W6 | My Business Ideas | Expansion and Customer Support.
Greetings, dear friends. It's week 6 of the Steemit engagement challenge for season 20, and it's a pleasure to participate in this week's entry, which talks about Expansion and Customer Support. Let's go into this exciting discussion together without any further ado.
1st Section: Are you planning any expansion of your business? |

Expansion in business means that there is growth in the business. Everyone who does business at some point will always look forward to expanding. My case is no different.
Yes, I'm planning expansion in my business. As a businessman, my desire and goal is that all the states within Nigeria and beyond should one day use my product. I'm always inspired by some prominent business people in Nigeria who started very little, and today, we see their products everywhere.
A loan business, I know not everyone goes into it because of the many things that have been said about the different products but I want to make my own exceptional. I have only started within a local government, and by the grace of God, it is cutting across Nasarawa at the moment.
I plan that I should have a branch in every state in Nigeria and to do that means I need more capital and more workers. At the moment, the funds are what I'm working tirelessly to get so that I can move from state to state, as I have a solid foundation already in Nasarawa State, Nigeria.
2nd Section: If you are trying to expand your business, what are your strategies? |

To expand a business is never an easy task. I have seen it from the workload I did within the local government areas in Nasarawa State. So below I will share with you the strategy I have used that worked for me in Nasarawa State. I'm sure that what worked for me may not work for another, but the strategy is indeed a very good one, especially for business within Nigeria.
The first thing I did was to go out to market the products, and my target was small-scale business owners who earn daily income by buying and selling their goods and services. So I went ahead to meet this person myself and then gave them the good news as to how they can expand their business through the loan they will get from my organization.
Another thing I considered was the location where my office can be suited so that I can reach a wider audience. Since my major aim was to help small-scale business owners and, at the end of it all, still have some gain, I always check for a very busy environment filled with my target audience to keep my office there.
Another important thing I do to get more customers is to give a certain percentage of discount to the first set of 100 customers that will be coming to patronize the business. This is the offer I give out during my marketing of the business when I first go to a new place where I want the business to be known.
This act has helped me to stand firm wherever I'm starting the business for the very first time because those who are available always help me to make the advert themselves, and that is what business is all about because alone, I can never reach everyone.
3rd Section: Are you paying attention to your customer service or planning to provide better service? |

My customer service is my top priority because, without the customers, the business is useless. So, I pay close attention to their needs and demands,s, and I always ensure that I meet their target requirements.
As part of my strategy to ensure that I know the needs of my customers, I always delegate my branch managers to have meetings with their customers once every month and the branch managers in turn meet with me and other stakeholders and then share their customer's worries and ideas with us which we then look at closely to ensure that we address all issues immediately.
This strategy has made the customers have more trust and belief in the business because they have a grassroots representative who always airs out their problems and how they wish to be better served. So we try to weigh their thoughts and their idea, and if we see that it will be beneficial to the organization and the customers, we will implement it elsewhere. We always go ahead to bring out other strategies that we believe will be better for all of us.
At the time, I believe my customer support service is good, and they have been very excellent. I believe that if there is a need for improvement, we will adjust immediately as we are always close to them and make the entire business enjoyable both for us and them.
4th Section: Do you and your crew understand how to work with customers? |

Yes, myself and my crew understand perfectly how to work with customers. Because of the importance of customers to the business, we always offer a one-week class or lecture from the Human Resources department to all those who are recruited newly to work with the company.
We have a 2-week training section, and from the design schedule of the entire training, we have decided to dedicate 1 week completely to training them on how they can work effectively with customers. So after this training, we always get a good result between the staff and customers relationship.
Aside from that, we also have quarterly training which lasts 2 days where we focus and train all staff again, both old and new, reminding them of their core duties when it comes to the relationship between them and their customers. Over the years, this has proven to be effective, and that is why we continue with it.
So, for this very question, I would like to say a very big yes that myself and my crew understand perfectly how to work with customers, and that has been one of the major reasons for the growth we see today within the business. The relationship between staff and customers has made many customers become agents helping us to advertise the business.
