GoPro: Space Needle

This was from last summer. It was a beautiful day in Seattle, perfect weather for a trip up the Space Needle. So I grabbed my GoPro and went to the top.The Space Needle has since been renovated, I can't wait to check it out.

Some fun facts about the Space Needle:
It was built in 1961 for the 1962 World's Fair
Its height is 605 ft.
Able to withstand 200 mph winds
Able to withstand up to a 9.1 earthquake - pray we don't ever have a 9.2
Takes 41 seconds to ride the elevator to the top
And because of the typical cloudy weather in Seattle, to see Mt. Rainier from the Space Needle is a rare treat.
