DTube - The Highest Viewpoint in Bangkok and Walking on Glass 310 Meters Above the Ground

in #dtube6 years ago (edited)

The tallest building in Bangkok, King Power Mahanakhon, also known as the Tetris Building. It just opened up its rooftop to visitors as the best viewpoint in the city. To top it off, they built a glass platform called the Skywalk. It's just glass that you walk on where there is nothing between it and the ground 310 meters down. What an amazing place.

Would you walk on the glass?

OMGOSH LOOKS LIKE A CRAZY GAME OF JENGA!!!!!!!!!!!! So crazy!!!! I could't do it. Maybe. LOLOLOL. I get this funny feeling in my feet when I'm in high places. Reminds me of the Willy Wonka Elevator! AND JUST WATCHING and my feet are tingling!!! SO packed. I mean there's barely any spaces in between the buildings! cool video! yea... Im not walking on that! that so nuts DAVE!!!!!!!!!!

Haha. This comment is everything.

Awesome and really have to say I am not that fan of heights lol I probably would have skipped the Glass walking lol but would have give it a slight try ; )

Nevertheless thanks for sharing the moments it was indeed awesome. from the elevator to the Sundown everything was perfect.

Thanks for your kind comment. :)

This is pretty rad!! Bangkok is killing it.

Awesome video as always! Looking down from that glass panel does look a bit scary, haha.

Yeah, it is. I didn't stay on it long because I was much more comfortable on the roof.

Dude!!! With smooth moon walking moves like that, you'll never be forever alone.

HAHAha. Let's hope that's true. I'll have to bust out the moves at Global Block Builders so that some hot, rich, single cryptobabe will notice me.

They should have put LCD panels underneath the glass that would have crack animations randomly!

Maybe that would block the view too much.

LCD panels are pretty clear. This was already done on a mountain bridge in China. I think this was a lot higher though!
