Hi there, deranged!
Tried to watch your video, but cut out at 4:18 and couldn't get it to load. Anyway, wanted to let you know I followed you after watching War-Torn. Knew those were Utah mountains as soon as the video started! Yes, I grew up there, so Dobie's way of talking made me feel at home.
Like you, I've made it through some pretty tough situations and watched not only because my father is a Vietnam vet, but because I've been diagnosed with PTSD. Like what you have to say about focusing on the positive rather than how people can hurt one another.

Thank you for watching my video. I am sorry that you are also feeling the effects of post traumatic stress. I hope that you have found a positive outlet for you to manage your PTSD in an effective way. Thank you for your comment and I wish you the best in the future.
No need to be sorry. All is easier when I just accept myself and respect what I need.
You too, hope your future is bright and that you keep producing great films.
Great to see you speak... You are inspiring me to share my photographs... My photography teacher is, however, very strict about not sharing photos on social media. He is a salon and arts circle guy :) I have exhibited my photographs in several international exhibitions and won an award as well before I stopped participating because of my recent arm fracture.
May be some day I will start sharing my photos here.
That is awesome. I want to see your photographs one day. I don't know the reasoning behind your instructor not wanting you to share your work with people, especially if you are just starting out. That is how you grow as a photographer, by getting feedback from others. Hopefully you will decide to share them with us soon.
You are even more likeable on video :D

Thank you sir, I do what I can. I will get back to peeling them potatoes.

He wants me to share, but within the photographic circles. In photographic salons and circuits. Let's see how things turn out.
Great job, son!
Thanks dad. I am doing everything I can to get your praise. It warms my heart to know I am making you proud.
I got my eye on you
