Using DTube to Resist The Centralized Crackdown

When the Central Financial Services (CFS) learned that @dougkarr gave @andrarchy an unsanctioned thermal Tattoo we have reasons to believe they attacked the decentralized chain with bot- crashing blocks.
We have our suspicions this was due to footage being leaked onto the centralize CFS platform known as YouTube. Therefore we've decided to redirect our video communication through DTube so that our DECENTralized brothers, sisters, others, AI and bots can receive the communiqué safely beyond the prevue of CFS overwatchers.
Be Safe as the CFS continues to attack resistance and as always watch your bots.

It seems like the YouTube revolution is on and gaining full steam, no pun intended. Many large audiences of creators on YouTube will take their content and run since the monetary gains are collapsing.
If only we were able to play Dsteem videos within Steemit platform, there would have been a lot of adoption for Steemit. Let us have hope that it will be possible in the near future.
I've posted a few videos there, it was relatively easy and I've already managed to make a few $. The combination of Steemit with IPFS offers great synergy and should benefit both platforms in the long run. Not to mention publishers of course and those with "sensitive" content that is at risk on YouTube.
It'll be interesting to see where it goes though, the danger of it becoming the global cesspoll of repugnant content and stuff that is illegal in many countries is quite high IMO. We'll see.
Better than YouTube
Ive tried signing up on dtube a few times but it says error wrong posting key. I'm using my posting key from my wallet so I dunno...
You have to hit the "show private key" button to the right of your posting key then copy that alphanumeric password. Hope that's helpful!
I had the same problem but I tried and tried and it just worked after a few tries. If at first, you don't succeed try try again. Find "show private key" to the right of the page and click.
Only use your posting key! Careful :)

What do I do?
OH NO the CFS is CLOSING IN! Burn your gear and RUN!!!!
Go up to the top right and click on the gears icon, then choose a different gateway, it works for me.

I just heard about DTube, I was about to join it but it wants steem user name and password. Explain this to me is DTube separate from steem or part of it and is it safe to use the steem password on dtube?
You have to enter your posting key in order to upload videos and vote/comment. This means that you only have to permit DTube to post on behalf of your steemit account. At any rate, DTube can't access your wallet or account settings.

Yes, but Viewly is not open to upload as yet.
You might want to sign up to the newsletter for information of when they open to public uploads.
