The language of ivrit ( עברית ) Genesis 7, DTube Video #5

in #dtube6 years ago (edited)

Welcome to my Hebrew reading & language series.

Genesis 7:18-23

In this video, I read about the waters prevailing and covering the high mountains by fifteen cubits. The water lifted the ark over the mountains, repeated twice, and all flesh perished; birds, livestock, beasts, swarming things, and all mankind - all creatures that have the breath of life in their nostrils.

This lesson may seem cruel but if we look back to chapter six, we see the Father of all creation greatly saddened by the self destructive ways of the people. God was hardly able to find any who had not turned their backs on Him. Noah and his family had not married the Nephelim. They had pure DNA.

Noah, was willing to do all the creator asked, even against all odds. Though it had never rained before, the ark was the only way to salvation.

This chapter will be finished next week and we will be into chapter eight where mankind gets a fresh start.

The work of God is perfect. Many scholars of the Bible say that when our Lord Jesus Christ comes a second time and creates a new heaven and a new world, there will be something like Noah's Ark to re-found the world.

שבת שלום לכולם

So obviously the yellow dot on the words denote the vowel sounds in each of the word just like you have said right? Because I believe it's key to practicing pronounciations really, well-done for bring the remaining of the chapter 7, was really great although I'm still trying to say the words correctly.
