I taught Shotokan Karate for 23 years and always wanted to visit Japan. I retired my training a few years ago after I was diagnosed with arthritis in my hip joints... my instructor had both hips replaced - I figure I prefer to skip that future if I can...

@ipmal You should try to make that visit happen, at least once! If you're dedicated, it can be done on an extreme budget. I'll continue to post pictures, hopefully they inspire you to make the leap :)
