RE: Marly Selects: My Favourite DTubers Of The Week || Plus: Presenting My New Video Studio

in #dtube7 years ago

I'm going to miss your skateboard seat sessions, but the new year is always about growth and developing yourself as a creator. Congratulations on your new setup. I like the painting you have in the background.

And thank you for talking about copyright. I'm going to do a video on it eventually because you're right, just because something is decentralized doesn't mean that you can steal other people's content. I think that if more people know just how many free resources there are for content creators to use, they might be less inclined to steal someone else's work. One thing that attracted me to the Steemit community last year when I joined was that there was a huge emphasis on original content, and that groups and mechanisms existed to police against plagiarism and content theft. It's also not just about honoring the copyrights of the original creators, but plagiarists and content pirates are stealing from the rewards pool.

Congrats again on the new video studio. Also, how was the snow the other week?

First of all, thanks for stopping by @joshpeterson! I just checked your vlog: great work on teaching new users :-)

The core spirit is still the same, but with the fast growing number of active users it gets more complicated to get this under control. That's why it's important to spread the word and also punish those who don't respect the rules. We're all in charge, not only those with higher VP.

I still haven't been to the mountains, that's going to happen in March. I'll definitely publish some videos from the now then :-)

Happy weekend to you and keep publishing the good stuff :-)
