Hey man - fantastic post - totally agree with you and i've only had my account for two days - you know you're right about the crypto echo chamber, soft porn and coffee posts when i've already noticed this trend after 48hrs - in fact i made references to it in my #introduceyourself post

also, one of my likes that i got on my #introduceyourself post that i thought was genuine turned out to be a canned response that the dude sends to everybody - it tried to tell me how to conduct myself in order to achieve success - anyway i replied to him "i'm not here for success, i'm here for freedom"

anyway, i'm a musician and filmmaker that plans on releasing exclusive content on steemit as i just can't stomach giving anything to youtube, facebook, itunes, or spotify and i feel this platform is begging for more original content
