First off, once again a good video.
I totally agree with you that speed is underestimated as a skill. Think we will see more and more people that go for speed in the future. And the Imp will should be a chosen monster in every fire splinter build.

Cool little run down, I wanted to say that I was counting on a couple of misses from whatever monster was in first and even ranged, because like you said speed is still hugely underestimated and the serpentine is already hard to hit, especially at max level. The only thing I was scared off, was a double sneak or even snipe team. Or even twisted jester could have been very dangerous. I loved the tournament and was experimenting a lot with the Imp, such a good card when placed well ;)

Twisted Jester is a great card! See you on the battlefield.

The well placed imp allowing his team to strike first really made the difference.

@dreamryder007 and I just played in a regular season match, and it was one of the most entertaining battles I've witnesses. Still shocked who won!

That was a good one. Going to have nightmares over all the misses :)

Good point. Do you think Goblin Shaman would have been an even better choice? Slowness + Weaken versus Swiftness + Flying.

It depends on how much DPS you want to bring to the match. The Imp hits harder so in lower mana matches more DPS is better. In larger mana matches I prefer tanky (this was a low mana match).

Pardon my ignorance, what does DPS stand for?

Hi. Thanks for starting to touch on the details of the tournament formats. I'm having a little trouble getting my head around those, ESPECIALLY because I live in Asia, and the time zone difference complicates things. If you can share more info on how to actually JOIN a tournament that would be excellent. Also, thanks for elucidating the core strength and functions fo the Flame Imp monster. I have one with a few level-ups, but have been a bit hesitant to use it. Please try to go into more hands-on detail of some of the other reward cards, of possible. Thanks...

Hi @transcript-junky, you can find the calendar of all tournaments here. If you click on the event, you'll see related links to the Challonge site (you need an account to sign up for the tournament, and also sign in within 30 minutes before the game) and the Discord channel where the organizers assign who challenges whom in the tourney-players channel.

The tournament uses EST so be sure to convert using the link provided at the end of the Tournament description on the Challonge site.

Hope that helps, and thanks for stopping by!

Hi @trang. Yes, this is very helpful info. I have followed you, and also followed you from my three Twitter accounts, and will mention you in my gaming related tweets and Steemit posts. It appears you are Vietnamese. I currently reside in Vietnam. If you need any free advice on how to expand the reach of the SM videocast let me know. Transcription is (obviously) one of my focuses, and I am willing to work for some JUICY cards (ex. bonus packs or individual cards of preference). Industry standard is that it takes ONE HOUR to properly transcribe 15 minutes of audio/video, and the text which comes out of that will significantly boost SEO. Just consider this and let me know if you need assistance...
