How to Apply Black Eyeshadow with a Sponge Applicator | A Professional Easy Technique

in #dtube5 years ago

Black eyeshadow is available in different eyeshadow palettes or as single shades. Most often, they include a sponge applicator to apply the eyeshadow with.

Well, how can you apply black eyeshadow with a sponge applicator without creating a mess? In this video, I’ll show you one such technique of application by only using a black shadow to create the perfect eye makeup look.

Tools you will need:

-A black eyeshadow of your favorite brand
-A sponge applicator
-A mascara of your choice

Step 1: Apply the black eyeshadow on your eyelid.

When applying the black shadow to the lid, use only one side of the sponge applicator and keep the other side of the sponge clean for blending.

Start applying some black shadow close to your lash line, from the inner to the outer corner (to intensify the color), and move slowly towards the mid area.

Next, turn the sponge applicator to the clean side and start blending in the shadow until you reach the crease. Move left to right or use circular motions for blending.

If needed, you can always intensify the desired black shade to suit your tastes.

Step 2: Apply the black eyeshadow on the lower lash line.

The sponge applicator is perfect for application on the lower lash line as it fits perfectly.

Use the side on which you’ve applied the black shadow on the lower lash line, starting from the outer to inner corners and connect it with the upper lid area.

Step 3: Finish of with your favorite mascara.

To finish off the look, apply a few coats of mascara. This will help enhance your eyes further.
