Content Intention? + Public Vlogging | Vlog #9
Heello friends!
Today's vlog is in relation to my thoughts on content intention and what I would like to see for the community of Steemit and Dtube. I'm also actively working on vlogging in public but conveniently enough I'm always caught in the rain.

This is beauttiful! coming from instagram where my main social media base is I quickly realized that the nature of this platform is completely different. I'll admit I initially got discouraged because I have a really deep passion for the body soul and mind and kind of made an initial post and it didn't really get any integration and even my intro post didn't get much interaction at all. Now however, after studying the platform, i'm going to just bring the value that I have to offer at this point, completely just ignore the income aspect of it and hope that people can take value from it! I see exactly what you see with the potential of this platform shared for being REAL. Something i've always wanted to be rewarded for. On instagram i'm almost an anomaly. Although i'm establishing myself here, i'm sure people will enjoy what I have to bring. Matter of fact, Gonna edit one of my crazy quality videos and post it here to see what happens. Awesome points dropped lol.
@kingrenovatio Thank you! Honestly I have moved so far away from other social medias due to how much anxiety they evoke in me due to all the negativity. The agenda behind why people interact can really reflect the darker aspects of people. I hope you don't feel discouraged that your creativity hasn't yet been recognised, but honestly responding in a true and honest way is what will connect you to others. It wasn't until I found my community here that I realised the true value of the platform and that everything in relation to recognition and upvotes was just an added bonus. I have found a place where I can be fully expressive and it is received so well - it only leaves me with good feelings. Don't be discouraged by the process at the start. I promise the journey here is a wonderful one! 💛

Yeah i've semi paused posting content on my instagram for the meantime, (I have alot of other projects i'm working on and just quit my job so transitioning out of that but everything is turning for the better and I don't feel discouraged one bit! I'm far to resilient to give up because I didn't get a desired result. So far in my life, i've learned this universe has a pattern or system to everything and if you can learn how that system works you can learn to have it work for whatever it is you want. I don't think i've yet fully released content that represents who I am as a entire being so until then we'll see how it goes along. and Lol thank you! Most definitely this is going to be a interesting journey for sure.
And ^that is how you get people to follow you and check out your content, which is exactly what I am about to do.
Tough, vlogging in the rain haha, but don't worry about it or what happened in the video as you today is different from you tomorrow ;)

This video is what this platform is all about! Also I had no idea that you were the yoga cat woman!! I knew I recognised those paintings from somewhere! I totally understand what you mean though, I bet it is such a wild feeling when something you put out there with no intentions, went viral.
I couldn't agree with you more about how society can discredit people for not achieving certain things in life, but I always say that content creators are the influencers of the new world. It's the real life stories that inspire and motivate people to love life better and I think that using this platform and meeting so many great people like yourself has actually grown my own personal confidence because of the freedom to express yourself without worrying about it.
Great to see you continue the vlogs, I admire your commitment, especially as you got progressively more soaked as the video went on! Haha, have an awesome day Sarah and feel free to swear, we all do it!

Thanks, I really appreciate you saying that. I decided I wanted to be more engaging with what I'm putting out there. Working through the nerves and trying not to get so critical on myself (when I stumble over words or thoughts). Haha yeah... thats me, that yoga chick! The whole situation has always been a bit confusing. I'm grateful for what it was able to give me, having generated some income but it really revealed how much value people put into things that can be so silly. Like the money that came from that could've gone to something much more worthwhile. That's kind of where I'm at with my content here. If I can use what I create to better myself and help others I'll feel that I'm at least giving back in a good and productive way.
I really like how you put that. It gives a lot more depth to what we are doing and how we can all help each other.

I got on YouTube some years ago to share my photography passion and also to confront a fear I had of public speaking. Now I get to control my own narrative online. I'm actually quite a private (sometimes secretive) person, but I've learnt to share selectively in a comfortable way.
I still have apprehensions when vlogging publicly - I don't think that will ever go away - but like you I just remind myself that it is probably the first and last time I'd ever come across that person glancing at me, so why should their approval dictate what I do? Easier said that done though 👀
I like your mentally in regards to sharing but in a selective way. I like to share but I want what I share to have value. I think it's important to keep a standard of privacy especially after experiencing something that millions of people ended up seeing.
And definitely easier said then done, the nerves are still there but I just keep telling myself - fuck it! You got this girl. A little pep talk to build up my confidence. I've never been at good public speaking and even in large social groups I remain pretty silent, but I have things I want to say, so I'm trying to work on it.

Second of all, I still admire the fact that you are so honest and a genuine person...I really like that. You have this "awesome to get friends with" kind of vibe. I see that you like playing in the rain, which again is double awesome. I can't do that hear in Germany because it's freaking cold and else I would get sick.
I actually know that video with the cat and yes it really went viral :D and I know we have a celebrity in our group haha. Anyway, yes, we should definitely think about what we should share on our channel and I would love to share all of my talents that I have which include (acting, entertaining people, music, self development topics, cinematography). So, yeah...It's time for people know what I can give to the world :)
