Scissor Seven Review (Spoiler Free) sometimes called Killer Seven Or Assassin Seven. Now all 14 episodes available on Netflix for viewing. This Donghua (Chinese Anime) came to me as a surprise of sorts, i considered a new series, until i saw the details it aired on China back in 2018.
Rest assured it was reminding me of Mob Psycho 100 and One Punch Man in lot of ways with its surrealistic humor and setting. Animation was also bit barebones but thats a stylistic choice i can live with it for most part. It also definitely looks Chinese art more than Anime imitation.
Netflix decided to merge an additional 4 episodes in the end, which are prequel backstories to some of the main characters in the series, not so much to do with the main plot of the anime really. So the season one is really technically just 10 episodes, in case people are bit confused about it.
