Brave's Basic Attention Token has the goal of revolutionizing online advertising by ensuring an equitable distribution of wealth between advertisers, creators, and users. In contrast to other coins which are simply backed by faith in the underlying network, the Basic Attention Token is backed by something that any marketing department will tell you is incredibly valuable - a user's attention. I believe that BAT's inherent use-value means that it could possibly break into the Top 10 cryptos before the end of the year. In order to do this, BAT will have to remain focused on its core competency of improving online advertising. Branching out and allowing users to "mine" BAT would be a mistake that adds confusion, devalues BAT, and undermines the long-term success of the project.
