This is a speeded up video of me painting a 24" x 30" canvas of a seascape inspired by the Wellington coast in New Zealand. I painted this in December last year and I filmed the process.

There was quite a lot of planning that went into this painting as I don't just get straight into an art work, I compiled many pencil sketches and then did a colour study, a small painting of this scene first. Click on the link to the video of me painting the colour study:
