The bible declares that "How Beautiful are them that bring the good news of Christ" is The Gospel. The Bible initially asks "How can they go unless they are sent?". In lieu of this that Mbuvi has depicted a jigger, which is called "Lulu" in Kamba and "Ndutu" in Kikuyu, to depict the cleansing process which is salvation for us Christians to show that to be sent with the gospel we need to constantly come to the one who washed the Disciples feet, ie Jesus Christ in order for us to be cleansed of our dirt, or in this case jiggers and be mandated for the Great Commission.
