Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Review
Hey! It's time for the biggest movie of the year and that is of course Star Wars Episode 9 as a hardcore Star Wars fan i obviously had to go see it earliest convenience possible.

Most of my thoughts about the movie can be found in the video, but ill write few musings here in text too. Overall it didn't turn out to be a trainwreck as "Fandom Menace" were trying to push it as, however it was quite an empty experience to me and thats lot to do with JJ whose all visuals and zero substance... like his previous star wars film and star trek films he did. I didn't care about the characters and i didn't still get what was the theme of this trilogy? There were cringy aspects also in this film and i feel like they went too overboard what "force" is able to do exactly.
I Don't think the trilogy really innovated on OST that much either, lot of revamped old tracks for most part - not a solid performance. Visuals were probably highlights of the series, but i felt like they did truly steer away from big cities like Naboo or Coruscant which were really nice looking CGI cities - ever since disney takeover it feels like there arent cities that look super high end and that doesn't correlate star wars to me that well.
Overall its a mixed bag film, better than the last jedi, but it still wanted to push identity politics and suffered from bad writing in all of the films in the trilogy. Then again writing could be technically said to be strongest out of the three, at least it does feel like that right now (Might have to revisit and watch the movies again)

hi dear @sugitv, I already know that it will have a million flaws, but how can you not look? in the end I like them all :-D
There are aspects about the movie that are good. I mean it better have after how much money has been sinked into it. But... yeah i'm more critical about the movie now than i was while reviewing it.
I can't be objective with my comment. Star Wars is one of my favorite movies for everything that meant its contribution to the science fiction film culture. I loved your review. A big hello @sugitv
